Ozio Gallery 2 doesn't register new folders with photos

I have installed Ozio Gallery 2 on my Joomla 1.5.25 site, and a problem i have is that if i upload new folders with pictures they don't show up, while there are some photos folders. i noticed that the photo folders that work have a .DS_store file and the ones that don't work don't have it. please don't use the ( or ) in the folder or file name.

Rename it and press the reset xml

There was never a ( or a ) in the folder names, it was just called Dive slides, but i tried renaming it and no luck
