500 Internal Server Error

Buongiorno a tutti!
purtroppo questa mattina quando ho provato a collegarmi al mio sito, ho avuto un'amara sorpresa, sia al sito che alla sezione administrator.

Cercando qua e la ho trovato alcune soluzioni rellative ai permessi o al file .htaccess ma purtoppo con esito negativo.

Ieri le uniche modifiche effettuate riguardavano l'aggiornamento di Joomla alla versione 1.5.21 ma l'ho fatto nella tarda mattinata, poi il pomeriggio non ho avuto nessun problema fino a questa mattina.

Qualcuno sà consigliarmi cosa fare?

Grazie per il benvenuto  (io ho cercato ma non ho trovato una sezione di presentazione).

Purtroppo non so rispondere a queste domande. Della creazione del sito e dell'host se ne è occupato un mio amico che adesso è in Canada, non so quando leggerà la mia mail. Io mi occupo solo della gestione per conto di alcuni amici.

Stamane mi hanno chiamato segnalandomi questo problema, e dicendomi che ieri sera fino alle 20 (circa) funzionava perfettamente, poi dopo non era più raggiungibile.

Uno di loro mi ha detto di avere semplicemente inserito delle immagini all'interno del forum (questo prima delle 20) e sto aspettando che mi mandi il codice che ha inserito, però mi sembra strano che del codice inserito nel forum crei problemi all'intero sito.

se si prova a disabilitare il forum, cosi vediamo se è quello il problema

No, purtroppo anche la parte "administrator" mi da lo stesso errore.

Ho già provato quella soluzione relativa al file .htccess, così come impostare i permessi delle cartelle a 755.

è sicuramente un problemi di permessi a qualche cartella, tu hai accesso via ftp al sito?

Si, ho provato ad impostare la cartella public_html con sottocartelle e file a 755 ma senza risultato.

Adesso sto provando a settare le cartelle a 755 e i file a 644.

é corretto così o devo coonfigurarli in maniera diversa?

Inoltre ho notato che il file .htaccess era vuoto e dalle dimensioni di 0kb. Ho provveduto a ricrearlo tramite il file htaccess.txt presente nella stessa cartella che vi incollo per comodità:

Non so come ma sono riuscito a rendere nuovamente raggiungibile il sito anche dalla parte "administrator".

Adesso però il problema persiste quando cerco di accedere al forum, al primo clic sul link che mi porta al forum ottengo questa errore:

0: cURL Error Message: The requested URL returned error: 500

Se clicco nuovamente mi si apre una pagina con "Internal Server Error etc etc..."

Ho provato a fare la verifica della login dalla console di Jfusione e anche qui viene restituiro lo stesso errore

ma il check risulta completato correttamente.
