Salve,
ho acquistato uno spazio web da aruba.it e da PDC riesco a installare solo la ver. 1.5.x di Joomla!. Io però vorrei installare la 1.6.
- Ho quindi fatto upload di tutte le cartelle sul mio spazio web (Linux)
- accedo il file www.xxx.yyy/joomla/index.php
-vengo re-diretto in www.xxx.yyy/installation/index.php

e ottengo questo errore:

Non posso acedere con un terminale (solo un file manager)

ho postato nel forum del .org e ho ricevuto una risposta risolutiva.
la incollo se dovesse servire

It means that the file libraries/joomla/language/language.php must be corrupted because the comment starting on line 598 is terminated on line 608 and the whole file has 1197 lines. Something must have happened during the upload. Replace that file and try again, but if more errors occur, you should upload all files.
