L'articolo era uno di quelli che avevo letto... vorrei un consiglio pratico per non istallare tutto. Se per esperienza vostra prediligevate qualcuno im particolare...

Non sono un esperto SEO vediamo se qualcuno legge e risponderà imparerò anche io qualcosa di nuovo che mi servirebbe proprio in questo campo  , ma personalmente preferisco non installare estensioni per la riscrittura delle URL, però oltre ad attivare la compressione gzip la cache e il plugin system page cache di joomla uso, con molta soddisfazione, JCH Optimize per ottimizzare la velocità di caricamento del sito, ed aggiungo gli expiration time per i file sul .htaccess di joomla, forse manca qualcosa ma ti aggiungo sotto il codice di expiration time che uso io cosi puoi farti un idea, e magari ci arriva qualche consiglio anche per quello  altro consiglio fai qualche test con gtmetrix

Giusto per iniziare un sano confronto questo è il file .htaccess.


intanto ho istallato seosimple (molto semplice e intuitivo) che in automatico mi ha creato tutti i meta descript

Ho notato anche che il template protostar per i titoli articoli usava il tag H2, che ho modificato in H1, visto che google da quello che leggo lo gradisce di più.

Molto vero, lo hai fatto con override o con il componente che hai installato?

in realtà un soluzione veloce e sporca:
sostituito <h2> e </ h2> tag  del file /components/com_content/views/article/tmpl/default.php [/color][/size] in <h1> e </ h1> [/color]

A questo punto ti conviene copiare il file nella cartella per l'override solitamente è

templates/nome_template/html/com_content/article/ almeno se aggiorni il template non dovrai rifare la modifica  prima o poi lo dovro fare anche io a un pò di siti

In realtà non avevo provveduto in quanto protostar  non trovo la cartella content/article.
