Ozio Gallery - Force Refresh?
« il: 24 Gen 2009, 19:31:32 »
I'm testing the Ozio Gallery and it is working great till the moment. The only problem I'm having is that I've changed the first photos I put, but Ozio Gallery continues to show the now deleted ones, so I think it need to refresh someway and read again from the directory so it shows the new ones. How do you do that?

Thanks!

Alex:

Thanks. I'm on a Mac. I have tried clearing the cache in both Firefox and Safari and the problem persists. Both browsers show the photos that are now deleted. Does Ozio Gallery has its own cache?, is there some way to clear it?

Alex:

I thought maybe changing the skin would force Ozio Gallery to search for new photos but it continues to show the deleted ones.

Sorry Alex, I can't. The page is not published yet and my client considers it very confidential (I'm running it through a fake address now, just to test it before publishing).

I have tried disabling Ozio Gallery and then enabling it again and even putting the site offline and then online but this problem is very persistent.

Any other idea?

Thanks a lot!

Alex:

I have tried on another two computers that had never visited the site and the problem persists. So, the problem must be in the server side. Don't know if maybe joomla itself has some type of cache or it is within Ozio Gallery. How to free it?

Any ideas?

I'm an idiot. After looking for a solution to this problem, I got it. I was totally confused (and I continue a little bit) about where the photos must go. The photos I was seeing were within the Ozio Module. I thought that would happen only after setting various Ozio Modules and expected the photos to be in the default position.

Well, now I'm trying to learn how to put several galleries across the site and despite following the instructions, I'm still not there.

Alex, Sorry for the confusion. I should have checked better the directories.

Thanks a lot for your patience!
