ciao a tutti durante l'installazione, dopo l'inserimento dei parametri per il database mi esce una schermata con il seguente errore.

ho fatto una ricerca su internet ho visto che altri hanno riscontrato il mio problema ma non ho trovato la soluzione per risolvere il problema..
Qualcuno sa come fare?

sei in locale o su un server?

Il problema potrebbe essere dato dalla versione del php.
php 5.3.x nobbuono
php 5.2.x bbuono

si sono in locale, ora provo a cambiare versione e ti faccio sapere

porca paletta hai ragione ha funzionato.. mi è bastato cambiare versione di xampp

Ciao, scusate so che il topic è chiuso ma ho anche io lo stesso problema e non riesco a trovare la 1.7.3 di xampp per linux.
Il sito apachefriends mi fa scaricare solo la 1.74 e se guardo nelle versioni precedenti parla solo di 0.9 o 1. oppure 1.1.

Mi sai dire dove l'hai scaricata?

Accc. stesso problema Xamp linux 1.7.4

Il problema si verifica con Joomla 1.5.22 ma non con Joomla 1.6.0

Vorrei capire... il problema è di Xamp o di PHP?

ho lo stesso problema ma non sono riuscito a risolverlo passando alla versione 5.2.17 di php.

Le versioni che uso sono

Apache 2.2.17
PHP 5.2.17
MySQL 5.5.9

Joomla 1.5.22

Qualche consiglio?

errore mio.. purtroppo non riesco a cancellarlo senza l'aiuto di un amministratore...
