Scusatemi ma ho un problema se imposto PHP 5.5 il sito funziona bene, visto che viene consigliato l'uso del PHP 5.6 se lo abilito mi da questo errore.
Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: Could not connect to MySQL.

Hosting A.....
Joomla 3.6.2
Versione PHP 5.6

Ciao    musica11,
credo sia una questione che devi affrontare con il supporto tecnico del tuo hosting.

Joomla è compatibile con PHP 5.6
poi non saprei se hai qualche estensione esterna o template che non lo sono.

assicuratevi che in configurazione globale nel TAB "Server" il parametro "Tipo database" sia su MySQLi

Ciao alexred, ho verificato e il tipo di database è già MySQLi  :-\ .
Ho aperto un ticket al supporto del mio hosting, vediamo cosa dicono.

Ho aperto un ticket ed hanno risolto, era un problema del provider.
