Salve sto installando il locale la joomba 1.5
dopo aver installato apache e mysql al momento di richiamare la pagine tramite
http://localhost/joomla/
il risultato è che vedo il contenuto della cartella joomla stile esplora risorse.
osservando acnhe i servizi avviati si windows sia apache che mysql risultano avviati.

come mai?  grazie mille

Ciao,
forse hai messo la cartella di joomla all'interno di un'altra cartella chiamata "joomla" (una cartella di troppo)?

usa un tools per creare lo spazio web in locale

no la cartella joomla è messa sotto la cartella htdocs

installato ora sembra che vada però è uscito un'altro problema...

Risolto la cartella aveva i soli permessi di lettura! a presto e grazie ciao

scusatemi ma ho installato XAMPP tutto bene fin qui
arrivato al collegamento del database mi esce un errore strano. in allegato l'errore.

Ciao,
prova così:

Set the password through the XAMPP Security Control Panel and then you are set:
1. Open the XAMPP Control Panel Application.
Make sure that Apache and MySql are running.
2. Click on the Apache "Admin..." button.
3. On the left-hand navigation list, click on the "Security" link under the "XAMPP" section.
http://localhost/security/index.php
This will open a separate tab/window titled "XAMPP SECURITY [Security Check 1.0]".
4. After the table, click on:
http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php
This will take you to a page titled "Security console MySQL & XAMPP directory protection".
This page will have 2 sections: "MYSQL SECTION: "ROOT" PASSWORD" and "XAMPP DIRECTORY PROTECTION (.htaccess)".
5. In the first section, set the desired password for the "root" account username, then submit the form.
