Ho installato ARTIO JoomSEF. Premetto che l'ho installato tantissime volte, e quasi mai mi ha dato problemi almeno fino ad oggi.
Sono su server linux di sgaragnao, dopo aver installato il componente ho rinominato htaccess.txt in .htaccess, abilitato il mod_rewrite nella configurazione di joomla e... quando si apre il sito non mi dà nessun errore, semplicemente esce la pagina tutta bianca, come se fosse vuoto! Ho provato a modificare un po' l'htaccess ma nulla... non so più dove sbattere la testa!
Che ne pensate?

Correggo, il problema evidentemente non ce l'ho con ARTIO JoomSEF, ma con Friendly URL per i motori di ricerca di Joomla.. appena lo attivo il sito è irragiungibile, nonostante abbia fatto tutte le operazioni descritte in precedenza

djchri come vedi sei incappato nella moderazione automatica, perchè non sono graditi riferimenti commerciali e non si supporto i problemi derivanti dai server diciamo particolari..
infatti quel server utilizza un suo .htaccess e quindi devi chiedere supporto a loro come rendere compatibile il file proposto da joomla con quello installato da loro nel server..
ps
.htaccess è un server di apache e non di joomla quindi se hai rinomiato quello di joomla probabilmente è andato a sovrascrivere quello esistente, ed ovviamente ti viene restituito errore..
devi contattare la tua assistenza hosting per qualsiasi rimedio..
chiedi sempre prima alla assistenza se puoi attivare .htaccess non viene permesso in tutti i server...

Ho trovato la causa: era un plugin di **** che mi impediva di visualizzare il tutto, cancellato questo plugin che era attivo ora funziona (quasi) tutto! Grazie per la risposta, metto RISOLTO nel titolo!
