Joomla! 3 / Not Compatible with sh404sef

Idleness would be my first choice for photo gallery. I like the idea of pulling from Google + for the ease of updates. I installed it on Joomla 3.3.6. The Fuente skin does not work at all. It will not display the gallery. The Nano skins will work, but only if I turn off sh404sef.   Even using it as a plugin, the gallery will not display.
