penso di aver trovato, nel file php.ini nella sezione [send mail] c'è qualcosa al riguardo e anche il file sendmail.ini nella cartella xampp -> sendmail , ho provato ad inserire la (oltre che su joomla!) le informazioni smpt ma l'errore rimane, ora provo a cambiare magari la sicurezza smpt da ssl a tls e ci metto la porta giusta e speriamo! se qualcuno ha la soluzione a portata di mano comunque è ben accetta! io sto facendo tutto il possibile per risolvermi il problema ma non voglio emarginare eventuali consigli costruttivi

hahaha grazie per la risposta ma non avrei scritto qua se prima non mi fossi informato, in giro su internet consigliano una cosa come 10 combinazioni tra host name o porte varie o tipo di sicurezza più corretto etc.. quindi si, ma sa che è come indovinare la sestina vincente perchè la configurazione che mi ha proposto qua sopra è la prima che ho usato e riusato e riusato per conferma ma l'errore persiste, ecco perchè sono sicuro che ormai il problema è a livello del file php.ini in xampp ma ahimè io in quei posti non so dove metterci le mani e speravo che qualcuno più esperto di me potesse aiutarmi! apprezzo comunque la tua risposta!

e' tutta la mattina che provo ogni possibile configurazione che trovo su internet per connettermi al smtp di google ma senza alcun risultato, ho provato tutte le porte, tutti gli host possibili immaginabili ma quel dannato errore persiste.. inizio a pensare che sia un problema legato alla mia configurazione in locale, magari qualche settaggio nel php.ini o simili, qualcuno ha qualche idea su come aiutarmi? ringrazio per l'attenzione!
ps: uso xampp
rettifico: si è un problema di configurazione del server locale perchè neanche con hotmail mi connette ma esce sempre lo stesso errore, qualcuno sa come aggiustare il mio problema? grazie

grazie mille, ho settato tutto con l'smtp di gmail e ho controllato che fosse tutto ok prima di testarlo, ma una volta testato mi esce questo errore:
- Mailer Error: SMTP connect() failed

va bene se uso anche la funzione smtp di gmail anche se in locale? in "nome host" lascio localhost o metto quello di google?

Salve,
quando provo a compilare ad esempio un formulario con chronoforms o quando registro un utente su un componente che richiede l'invio di una mail di conferma registrazione, mi esce questo errore:
Sto lavorando in locale e non riesco a capire dove sbaglio, nelle "Configurazioni globali" nella voce "Server" e poi su "Impostazioni E-Mail" ho messo la funzione PHP Mail è corretto? devo configurare qualche file o cambiare qualche settaggio? Spero di essere stato chiaro e spero di ricevere qualche risposta!

Salve, ho installato un tema nuovo nel mio sito, volevo sapere dove trovo nel css il modo per far si che i titoli nei vari moduli siano allineati in centro e non a sinistra! Tipo nella Home, se ho un modulo "Contattaci" con sotto il relativo formulario, vorrei sapere come metto la scritta "Contattaci" allineata al centro! Grazie!

io ho provato a reinstallare anche da cartella tmp il sito più e più volte ma questo errore 1054 persiste, può essere dovuto ad un problema nel backup del database?

I Template di Joomla! 3 / Sistemazione blocchi

Salve,
ho installato un nuovo template nel mio sito, premetto che sono alle prime armi qua su Joomla!, ho già abilitato l'opzione anteprima posizione modulo su Gestione template e ho già inserito il famoso /?tp=1 a fine link per vedere i vari blocchi. Volevo sapere com'è possibile spostare questi blocchi mettendoli dove voglio io?

Non riesco a capire come mai! E quando vado su Gestione Estensioni e provo a cancellare la cache, dopo clicco su Cerca Aggiornamenti e mi escono gli errori descritti nel post sopra!
Il pannello di controllo quando provo ad cliccarci mi esce questo errore:

Non riesco a capire come mai! E quando vado su Gestione Estensioni e provo a cancellare la cache, dopo clicco su Cerca Aggiornamenti e mi escono gli errori descritti nel post sopra!
Il pannello di controllo quando provo ad cliccarci mi esce questo errore:

Purtroppo non riesco ad aggiornare le estensioni automaticamente e a dire la verità non mi si collega nemmeno ai siti dove si aggiorna a causa di questi errori:

sto passando il mio sito dalla versione 2.5.28 alla 3.3.6, il database è a posto, ma ho dei dubbi riguardo le estensioni. Le ho controllate tutte e ho verificato che siano compatibili con la nuova versione di Joomla! e ho di conseguenza scaricato la versione giusta ma le estensioni le devo aggiornare prima di passare alla 3.3.6 o dopo aver eseguito l'aggiornamento di Joomla!? E devo riconfigurarle dopo l'aggiornamento o sono come le avevo lasciate? Più informazioni riuscite a darmi più mi fate felice
