Mi sto chiedendo come funziona il meccanismo di conferma di Yanc, quale indirizzo o pagina devo inserire per far confermare gli iscritti?
Devo inventare una pagina statica?
Una volta inventata dove la inserisco?

Crei un sito parallelo in locale sul pc domestico e via via aggiorni il database e il sito- on line. Scomodissimo, ma non saprei cosa altro consigliarti...

Se il tuo server ha una struttura di gestione esterna usa quella, non quella di joomla!
Con le impostazioni di Joomla io non riesco a modificare i permessi del server.

Io i permessi via ftp non li considero come non considero quelli di joomla, tanto non corrispondono mai alla realtà! L'unico luogo dove vedere con certezza i permessi delle varie cartelle è plesk. Come loro hanno deciso di attribuirli è un mistero...

Prova ad usare la verisone di Easy Php 1.8 e a riscaricare joomla
Il problema è molto strano se c'è un posto dove joomla non mi ha mai creato problemi è proprio con Easy PHP sul pc di casa...

quando procedo ad inviare la newsletter (apparte che ne invio sempre cento) e non capisco come mai... oltre ciò appare il seguente errore

L'invio delle news letter viene portato a termine anche se in quantità non richieste (100-199 insomma un monte di lettere
)
Qualcuno di voi sa come interpretarlo?

Il problema è il solito sia per me che per castellomurat dipende dai permessi di tol... sblocare i permessi è abbastanza macchinoso in quanto è impossibile farlo via ftp, occorre usare la loro interfaccia.
Innanzi tutto per installare si deve usare la cartella d' installazione, ovvero scompattare lo zip in una cartella che io chiamo per comodità installco caricarlo sul server al seguente percorso ..../administrator/components/com_installer/installco nel caso di componenti. Stesso discorso con gli opportuni aggiustamenti per modulo e mambot file.
A questo punto attraverso il pannello di controllo del server non devi prestare attenzione al colore ma alle spunte vicino all'utente con meno permessi. abilita tutto fai l'installazione e poi disabilita.
Ci vuole una vita a fare tutto ma funziona bene per fortuna!
Sul server sono molto attenti alla sicurezza e in effetti questa estrema rigidità rende le operazioni semplici complesse...
se hai bisogno di aiuto sono a disposizione.

per caso ti dice che non è possibile effettuare il caricamento errore vml ecc...
il problema è che anche portando i file via ftp in una cartella del sito creata a tal fine mi dice sempre che il componente back up è attualmente in uso da un altro componente, per caso ti dice la solita cosa?
non so più che pesci prendere...
non penso che qualcuno ci aiuterà, io ho scritto più volte ma, gli aiuti li ho sempre visti con il contagocce... proviamo ad arrangiarci... se riesco ad ottenere qualcosa ti mando subito i risultati, spero in altrettanta collaborazione!

In pratica se ti connett al tuo server con un programma di FTP, vedrai accanto ad ogni file e cartella un codice del genere:
nome cartella --rw----
bene quel --rw---- indica che la cartella e leggibile e scrivibile.
questa condizione è data da quasti codici ( cliccandoci su si puo' apreire una finestra che ti permette di modificarne le condizioni).
questo ti sarà piu' chiaro

Grazie sei stato illuminante... vediamo se ho anche appreso... il livello zero è quello migliore a fini della sicurezza. Quindi mettendo zero si è tranquilli (relativamente).

Ho installalato sul mio PC (con easy php 1.
il componente eBackup 1.0.0b
sia su un sito joomla 1.0.9 (italia) sia su un 1.0.10 (italia)
Il componente si installa regolarmente, ricopio la stringa nel file index del templates e quando mi appresto ad eseguire il back up, nella apposita schermata appare tutta una lista di messaggi, sotto i quali si trovano le tabbelle da spuntare. Secondo voi è un problema serio o trascurabile, è una falla periocolosa o no, si può risolvere in qualche modo? Si tratta di un problema causato dall'installazione locale? Installando online il problema non si manifesta... Occorre versione successiva del componente?

Se a qualcuno può servire sono riuscito a risolvere il problema così:
$text = str_replace( '’', "'", $text );
la stringa è da aggiungere al file pdf dentro la cartella include.
Va inserita all'inizio della serie di stringhe $text = str_replace
Per un profano come il sottoscritto è stata durissima!

Preciso che il problema si manifesta sull'installazione on-line su server windows, il problema si manifesta anche in remoto sul mio pc domestico e easy php 1.8 attraverso il componente back-up installo la versione sul web sul mio pc.
Ho aggiornato la versione con 1.09 in locale con la 1.010 senza ottenere alcun risultato, ho provato con Pdf hack e fpdf hack, ma i problemi permangono.
In remoto se installo da zero una versione 1.010 tutto funziona regolarmente. Proverò a fare una prova con installazione da zero di una 1.09.
Se qualcuno ha qualche idea... ho visto che molti siti sul web hanno il mio steso problema... devo presumere che non è risolvibile?
