Gallerie di immagini / Problem with Carousel, images not showing

I am a newbie here, please Carneade!!!!!!

I have 1 question
I am using the carousel, but my images are not shown and I get an error message.

This is what I am using in carousel.xml

So I have placed them in the folder "images" under the Roort folder. But they are not shown, i get an error message:
Invalid XML file:
TypeError #1088
