grazie per la risposta, ho risolto installando manualmente phoca gallery,  il problema era causato dalla mancanza di risorse per la procedura d'installazione phocagallery.

salve a tutti,
sto cercando di mettere su un portale con joomla, pero sto  riscontrando qualche difficolta nell'installare phocagallery_v2.7.5 e joomgallery_1_5_5_2_stable_build_201008 29.

componente Installa: DB function failed with error number 2006
MySQL server has gone away SQL=INSERT INTO jos_components VALUES( 0, 'Phoca Gallery', 'option=com_phocagallery', 0, 0, 'option=com_phocagallery', 'Phoca Gallery', 'com_phocagallery', 0, 'components/com_phocagallery/assets/images/icon-16-pg-menu.png', 0, '', 1 ) .......

il problema si verifica solo quando tento di installare questi due componenti, attualmente il database e di livello 3, la versione php  č la  5.2.13 e Joomla  1.5.20, lo spazio non e un problema .
sono nuovo su altervista e non riesco a capire se e un problema dell'installazione joomla o una restrizione di altervista?

ciao a tutti,
sono nuovo su joomla, sto cercando di mettere su un portale e  sto testando l'integrazione completa di joomla e phpbb3.
per l'integrazione grafica ho fatto un link wrapper come descritto nella guida. Graficamente sembra funzionare tutto bene, pero ho riscontrato un problema: aprendo una nuova scheda/finestra del browser da un link del forum, viene visualizzato solo il forum senza wrapper e senza portale!
c'e qualcuno che ha avuto il mio problema e com'e riuscito a risolverlo?
