Per chi ne ha le capacità e sà dove mettere le mano, è possibile creare una guida base su come creare un template per il forum SMF, che richiami quello di joomla ?

basterebbe anche sapere quello che c'è da fare per creare un header e un footer, poi il resto, può rimanere anche quello dle forum originale.
