Aggiornamento Joomla! da 2.5.8 a 3.4.5 - backend inaccessibile

Salve a tutti,
un po' che non scrivo... vuol dire che fin adesso è andato tutto bene! :-)

Vengo subito al problema: mi è frullata in testa l'idea di aggiornare il mio ormai obsoleto Joomla!... e fino a che era un'idea andava tutto bene. Adesso invece, che ho intenzione di farlo praticamente, non funziona... e penso di aver provato tutte le soluzioni e guide esistenti sul web.

Sono in locale, con XAMPP 1.8.2:

Server del Database
  • Server: 127.0.0.1 via TCP/IP
  • Tipo di server: MySQL
  • Versione del server: 5.5.39 - MySQL Community Server (GPL)
  • Versione protocollo: 10
  • Codifica caratteri del server: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)           
Web server
  • Apache/2.4.10 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.1h PHP/5.4.31
  • Versione del client del database: libmysql - mysqlnd 5.0.10 - 20111026
  • Estensione PHP: mysqli
Ecco quello che faccio:
  • Estraggo il backup di Akeeba su una cartella denominata rlm
  • Avvio l'installazione accedendo alla cartella 127.0.0.1/rlm
  • Carico il database senza nessun problema
  • Vado sul backend tranquillamente e faccio un controllo per vedere se ci sono componenti inutilizzati o non compatibili con J! 3.x, disinstallandoli (e rimuovendo manualmente anche le tabelle del db se dovessero rimanerne)
  • Abilito il log errori a livello massimo
  • Faccio puntare il file log alla cartella logs
  • Elimino la cache
  • Imposto sull'aggiornamento di J! le versioni beta e mi ritrovo J! 3.4.5
  • Avvio l'installazione che puntualmente si blocca all'85.9% come in foto allegata.
  • La schermata bianca successiva è la foto numero 2
Ho provato a rimuovere componenti, moduli e plugin, come ad esempio Acymailing, Phoca Gallery e altri famosissimi ed aggiornatissimi... ma nulla, l'errore è sempre lo stesso.


Accedendo alla cartella logs il file joomla_update.php contiene il seguente log:

Premesso che ho anche provato questa procedura (sempre in locale) con un'installazione vergine di J! 2.5.8 poi aggiornata alla 3.4.5, con riuscita perfetta, qualcuno saprebbe indicarmi una soluzione? Salto qualche passaggio?

A mio parere quando ci sono troppe estensioni installate nella versiondi Joomla obsoleta è molto meglio fare una migrazione più che un aggiornamento, altrimenti il rischio è di portarsi dietro errori e di non avere un'installazione pulita.

Se hai dimestichezza con MySQL gli articoli li esporti e reimporti in un attimo.

Ciao Alessio e grazie per la risposta.
Ho provato a disinstallare tutti i componenti, moduli e plugin di terze parti, anche se erano comunque famosi, aggiornatissimi all'ultima versione e con piena compatibilità con J!3. Ho poi controllato il db ed eliminato le tabelle obsolete, pulito ed ottimizzato... ma nulla. Quella che provo a fare io, anche se con esito negativo, dovrebbe essere già una migrazione, le tabelle vecchie vengono aggiornate durante la procedura. Altri metodi non ne conosco, mentre andare a mettere mano sul mysql per convertire solo gli articoli lo trovo inutile visto che ho parecchi dati su altri componenti e migliaia di iscritti... non posso permettermi di sbagliare qualcosa  ;D

già che parli di "aggiornamenti" significa che non è una migrazione :-)

Migrare vuol dire avere un'installazione pulita, prelevare quanto ti serve dalla vecchia installazione ed inserirla in quella nuova, per fare un lavoro fatto bene va fatto con MySQL, altrimenti ribadisco ti trovi un'installazione sporca che ti porti dietro a vita, quel giorno che usciranno aggiornamenti importanti del core tipo la 4 o la 5 cosa farai ?

Passare da una versione ad un'altra non è semplice in effetti.

hai ragione e per questo ho anche rinominato il titolo adeguatamente!!
Però continuo a non riuscire ad aggiornare Joomla!


Pensi che provando con un componente, ad esempio RedMIGRATOR, riuscirei nel mio obiettivo? Conosci altri componenti free che facciano lo stesso lavoro magari meglio? Qualche consiglio? Ho imparato qualcosa negli anni ma di certo andare a migrare di sana pianta un sito da una versione di J! ad un'altra mi risulta difficile... giusto il tempo di capire come procedere e siamo giá a J! 5.5  ;D

Redmigrator serve a migrare, tu invece vuoi aggiornare ed anche se decidi di rifare daccapo come ti hanno suggerito dovresti usare un estensione export/import di utenti e contenuti. Redmib
grator non può esserti utile.

Io voglio portare il mio Joomla! alla versione 3.4.5 viste le tante belle e nuove novità che potranno di certo rendere il mio sito più appetibile ai motori di ricerca.
Adesso, il mio problema è quale strumento utilizzare: semplice upgrade (che non riesco a far funzionare in nessun modo) o migrazione (ancora devo capire cosa usare per farla e come, ammesso che funzioni)?

L'obiettivo in entrambi i casi è soltanto uno: non farmi perdere pezzi per strada  :D sono 6 anni che ci lavoro!!

Cmq ho letto meglio e capito che redMigrator serve solo a migrare da 1.5 a 2.5 o 3, e pensare che su joomla.it c'è una guida su jupgrade scritta proprio da me nel lontano 2011  :'(
