Posizione modulo in header

Ciao a tutti. Credo che questo sia uno degli argomenti più trattati su questo forum.
Ho letto parecchi post al riguardo compreso, quello aperto poco più sotto da Piotr1978, ma non ne vengo a capo.
Vorrei inserire una nuova posizione modulo all'interno del quale inserire un modulo per slide, il tutto  dove ora c'è l'immagine con l'occhio.
Ho inserito la nuova posizione "header1" nel file templatedetails.xml,  e ho fatto lo stesso nel menu a tendina del menu principale.
Ma non capisco cosa e dove inserire nel index.php del template.
Come posso fare?

io cambierei template e userei un template non fatto a tabelle  ma fatto a div, lo hai cercato appositamente?
ora x creare una posizione devi cercare la tebella dove ora hai l'immagine con l'occhio, e provare ad inserire la posizione .

No, non l'ho fatto apposta, mi sono accorto anch'io che è fatto a tabelle.
Il problema è che ho la necessità di avere nell header sia il logo, che ho messo sulla sinistra, che una slide che appunto vorrei mettere dove c'è l'immagine con l'occhio.
Questo è l'unico free, graficamente accettabile, che ho trovato già così diviso.
Scegliendone un altro  posso modificarlo secondo queste mie esigenze?

Avrei scelto un altro template, ma dovrei allungare il modulo che si trova in alto sulla destra e conseguentemete, accorciare lo spazio per l'immagine sulla sinistra, è possibile??

Il problema è che ho la necessità di avere nell header sia il logo, che ho messo sulla sinistra, che una slide che appunto vorrei mettere dove c'è l'immagine con l'occhio.

A meno che si possa inserire  l'immagine del logo nel modulo a sinistra (ultime notizie), ma ciò è possibile??
