Errore 500 Internal Server Error - Problema con file .htaccess [RISOLTO]

Buondì!
Ho caricato su una sottocartella del mio sito web un'installazione quickstart di Joomla! e, dopo l'installazione che è andata tranquillamente a buon fine, la pagina web mi restituisce l'errore:  500 Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at postmaster@... to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

Come suggerito quindi ho dato uno sguardo al log degli errori che riporta:

www... - /web/htdocs/www..../home/nuovosito/.htaccess: Option FollowSymLinks not allowed here, referer www.../nuovosito/

Ed effettivamente nel mio file .htaccess non esiste la voce  FollowSymLinks quindi penso che il problema si risolva aggiungendo la suddetta giusto? Se si, a quale riga devo aggiungerla?

Come non c'è? Io credo chen tu debba commentare quella riga, così:

#Options +FollowSymLinks

C'era, errore mio, la cercavo in una posizione diversa.
