[RISOLTO] Joomla 3.5.1 con XAMPP v.3.2.2 / PHP 7.0.8 - anomalia administrator

Ho installato il locale l'ultima vesione di XAMPP v3.2.2, con PHP 7.0.8, e, successivamente aver creato un db mysql, iniziato nell'installare Joomla 3.5.1 con la solita procedura dal sito http://localhost/#nomesottocartella/.

L'installazione di per se non ha avuto alcun problema, ma, al termine, nello scegliere se il sito o il pannello amministratore, ho avuto la sorpresa.

Il sito appena creato, con gli esempi, sembrava correttamente fruibile, il pannello dell'amministratore, invece, dopo il login, si presenta con queste righe a video mostrate sotto:

Ho tentanto varie reinstallazioni ma senza successo usando lo stesso pacchetto XAMPP.
Dovrei usare la versione PHP 5?
Sembra strano che con una versione più recente di php dia problemi.

Avevo omesso che lavoro con windows 7 pro 64 bit
...
Data la mia testardaggine ho provato a disinstallare e reinstallare xampp almeno 5 volte.
Dopo una pulizia di file temporanei e rimasugli in regedit con appositi programmi ormai noti, ci sono riuscito.
Se può essere d'aiuto ad altri ho installato xampp-win32-5.6.23-0-VC11-installer.exe appunto con php 5.6.23.
Non capisco come mai, sul sito di joomla, dichiarino che tutte le versioni superiori a 5.3.10 di php funzionino.
La 7.0.8 dome descritto ho trovato problemi con le variabili, ma ammetto la mia ignoranza il php ed ho preferito una strada diversa.

Rissumendo: con la versione 5.6.23 di php, al momento, gira tutto liscio.
