Tutorial Installazione Joomla su Altervista

Visto che continuate a leggerlo modifico il mio primo post con questo link in modo che non ci si sbagli più

Seguendo il tutorial, non riesco a superare lo step 1, (configurazione database MySql) e mi dà come errore nome utente e password non corretti, ho fatto due registrazioni diverse su altervista, ma l'errore è sempre lo stesso. Sono sicuro che i dati inseriti sono esatti perchè riesco a caricare tutte le cartelle di joomla con filezilla. Domanda: si può aggirare questo passaggio in altro modo?

domanda n° 1: hai attivato il database mysql su altervista?
In caso positivo (e sempre consigliando almenoi una classe "2" per il DB), è molto strano.
Su altervista, il DB sta su "localhost"
il nome del DB ha il formato "my_tuonomeutentealtervista"
utente e password sono quelli altervista

Altro problema: al termine dell'installazione mi dice:

Il vostro file di configurazione o la cartella che lo contiene non sono scrivibili, o ci sono dei problemi nella creazione del file di configurazione. Dovete adesso caricare il seguente codice a mano. Cliccare sulla textarea per evidenziare tutto il codice.

Cosa vuol dire? Devo creare un txt e metterlo dove?

Dovrai costruire a mano un "configuration.php" e trascriverlo. Ma come hai settato i permessi della root e dei nuovi file? Anzi, come sono settati di default nel server, visto che si parla di prima installazione.

Senti, vuoi provare a cancellare tutto tutto dallo spazio web, rifare l'upload e l'installazione?
L'upload, fallo dal pannello di controllo di altervista, piuttosto che con l'ftp.

E' successo questo: quando stavo uppando i files, il server dove risiedeva il mio sito è andato fuori uso. Dopo ho avuto dei problemi riniziando l'installazione quindi ho cancellato tutto e riuppato ed è successo quello che ti ho scritto sopra.

Ora provo a reinstallare lo zip via browser come mi hai detto e ti faccio sapere. Grazie

anzichè l'ftp, utilizza il pannello do controllo di altervista. Digita nella barra degli indirizzi www.altervista.org
In alto a dx, c'è il form per l'accesso ai tuoi strumenti.
Inserisci il nome utente (macvillage) e la password e dal pannello, dovresti trovarti l'opzione "gestione files" o qualcosa del genere. Uppa lo zippetto da li. Una volta nello spazio, nel pannello di controllo ti apparira fra i file presenti con il tastino per la scompattazione.

Ho provato a reinstallarlo via ftp ma nada 


Devo rinunciare? Può dipendere da Altervista?
